1. How did you come up with the Scrunchleans name?

We wanted to start a scrunchie business and being from New Orleans the name kinda fell in our laps. So we combined Scrunch-ie and Or-leans together which gives you Scrunchleans.

2. What's a Scrunchie? 

A Scrunchie is an elastic band covered with gathered fabric, used to fasten the hair, as in a ponytail. 

3. What's a Charmeuse Satin scrunchie?

Charmeuse Satin is a smooth and lustrous Polyester Satin. With an approximate 90 GSM weight, Charmeuse is a soft and flowy medium weight Satin fabric that's shiny on the front, with a matte finish on the back. 

A Charmeuse Satin scrunchie helps hair that's been damaged from excessive heat, chemicals and color products keeping hair moisturized, frizz-free, tangled-free and beautiful from day-to-night damage. While eliminating bed-head, split-ends and hair breakage by preserving your style.

4. How to wash my Charmeuse Satin scrunchie?

Charmeuse Satin is easy to clean. Charmeuse Satin can be machine washed and air dried. Avoid Heat.

5. What is the difference between Satin and Charmeuse?

The difference between Satin and Charmeuse is that Satin is a style of weave used to manufacture fabrics, while Charmeuse is a lustrous fabric woven in a Satin style weave.

6. What is the difference between Crepe back Satin and Charmeuse?

The differences between Crepe back satin and Charmeuse are weave, weight, and texture. Crepe back Satin and Charmeuse are both woven in a similar Satin style; however, Crepe back Satin is woven using a combination of highly and lowly twisted yarns. 

The results in both fabrics having a lustrous front side, but Crepe back Satin weighing more and having a crepe or crimped back side.
